Seyi Tinubu storms Yola, donates to Paupers Fund, settles patients’ medical bills

As part of his Ramadan tours to Northern states, the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, has stormed Yola, the Adamawa state capital, where he broke fasting with the youth and distributed food to the needy.

Seyi also visited Madibbo Adamawa University Teaching Hospital (MAUTH) Yola, to see patients in the hospital battling with different types of health challenges.

Touched by what he saw during the visit, he paid the medical bills of some of the patients and donated huge sum of money to the hospital Paupers Fund established to cater for the medical needs of the less privileged.

Speaking during the event, the President’s son said that he was in the hospital to see how patients were faring and to identify with them and wish them speedy recovery.

He also commended the management and staff of the hospital for their dedication, hygiene and service delivery.

The president’s son eulogised his father administration for giving Nigeria’s teeming youth the opportunity to realise their dreams, running a youth-friendly government and created an economy that benefited everybody, among many other achievements.

He described his father as the best President Nigeria ever had, however, regretting that some people were hellbent in bringing down his government and family despite his sacrifices for the country.

Also speaking, the North East National vice chairman of All progressives congress (APC), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, applauded the gestures which he said would go along way to bring succour to the people.

Salihu described the efforts as a demonstration of empathy and commitments to addressing the challenges bedeviling the country  which he said the Tinubu administration was known for.

According to him, Seyi Tinubu was following his father’s footsteps as a passionate politician who cared about the common man hence his decision to put smiles on the faces of the ordinary in the society.
