Senator felicitates with Southern Kaduna Muslims at Sallah

The Senator representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial Zone Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah over the Sallah celebrations.

The Senator in a message made available to Blueprint said: “I joined the Muslim community in Kaduna South Senatorial District, Kaduna state, Nigeria and across the globe to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha, the feast of sacrifice.”

He mentioned that living the life of righteousness by all individuals is a fact that will enhance good living against which backdrop he admonished Muslims to emulate the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

“I wish to call on our Muslim brethren to truly imbibe the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim, who, in obedience to God’s directive, sacrificed his only son for mankind.

“While Eid-el-Adha symbolises sacrifice, discipline, faith, the spirit of give and take, love of God and love for our neighbour, obedience to and total submission to God our creator, I call on our citizens not to relent in praying for peace, unity and religious harmony, which are essential to sustaining the glory of our dear Senatorial district, Kaduna state and the nation at large,” he stated.

The Senator urged the people to  continue to be patient and to support the government of today, owing to the fact that it has good plans for the people.

“As you celebrate this Eid-el-Adha, I urge you to continue to have faith in the governments at all levels, and pray for the continued peace and progress of our beloved country,” he stated.
