Senate condoles with Katsina government over Max Air chairman’s wife’s demise

The Senate has condoled with the Katsina state government on the demise of the wife of the chairman of Max Air Limited, Hajiya Aisha Mangal.

Leading a delegation from the upper legislative chambers to the state governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Senator Chief Whip Ali Ndume, said they were in the state to commiserate with the business mogul and chairman of Max Air Limited, Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal. 

Chief Press Secretary to Governor Radda, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, in a statement made available to journalists, said Hajia Mangal died last Saturday evening.

Senator Ndume while congratulating the governor commended him for the good work he is doing so far in the state. 

He urged Radda to be focused on the assignment he has been entrusted with for the benefit of the people of the State.

“You have started on the right path and you have  hit the ground running,” Ndume said. 

In his remarks, Governor Radda thanked the senators for the visit describing the “deceased as an important personality and role model who would be dearly missed by the lives she positively touched while she was alive.”

The delegation comprised of Senators Abdulaziz Yari, Danjuma Goje, Kawu Sumaila, Muntari Dandutse, Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, Ifeanyi Uba, Abdul Ahmed Ningi, and Ishaku Abbo among others.
