Sallah: Foundation distributes food to less privileged, security personnel on duty

A non-governmental organization Pzafaama Helping Hand Foundation, distributed food to security personnel on duty and less privilege Nigerians to mark this year’s Eid-el-Adha celebration.

Men and women of security agencies that benefited from the distribution were personnel of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Police, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Directorate of Motor Vehicle Administration ( also known as VIO) among others.

The foundation took the food and drinks to Major streets and junction in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja to appreciate them for their hard work and service to the nation.

Speaking on why it embarked on the initiative, the Co- Founder – Princess (Dr.) Mrs. Hauwa Usman Ahmed Abdul-Dimka, said the gesture is to celebrate the sallah with the less- privileged and to let them know that when there is life, there is hope.

“We set up the foundation because in the society we live in, some of us are privileged while some are not.

“When you see this kids there is this humanitarian feeling you have that no matter how small you can afford just give back to the society because when we sow much love, the world be a better place, “she said.

Sharing of food to the less privilege and people on duty post on Sallah day was to to appreciate hardwork and encourage Nigerians who continue to do their best in lawful ventures rather than engaging in criminal ventures.
