Russia 2018: Get a club now, Rohr tells Iheanacho, Musa, others

Coach Gernot Rohr has said he expects Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa and Vincent Enyeama to move during the January transfer window so as to enhance their chances of featuring at the World Cup in Russia.

“Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa and Enyeama should move in this (transfer) window so that they can play regularly ahead of the World Cup,” Rohr disclosed. Both Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa have been frozen out at Leicester City while Enyeama has only recently recovered from a major knee injury.

Ahmed Musa, for one, has been linked with clubs in England and Turkey. The Franco-German coach further said he has been in touch wiThenyeama on a comeback to the team after his self-imposed retirement in 2015 .

He also said the Eagles goalkeeper trainer Erico Pionetti will visit Francis Uzoho at his Spanish La Liga Deportivo La Coruna. Uzoho, who made his Eagles debut in a friendly against Argentina in November, is now down the pecking order at his club after a couple of first-appearances.
