The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation has appointed a United Kingdom trained sports administrator, Baye Osagie Sylvester, as a coopted member of its board.
President of the federation, Dr Ademola Are, endorsed Sylvester’s appointment on Friday, September 15, 2023; and expressed optimism that the appointee would bring his vast knowledge in Rugby England; and marketing skills to bear.
Sylvester, a former Public Relations Officer (PRO), University of Benin Sports, bagged the Rugby honour few days after his appointment as a member of the Nigeria Olympic Committee.
The United Kingdom-based Edo State-born Sports Technocrat holds a master degree in International Sports Management in Birmingham City University, England.
