Rubochi monarch tasks FCTA on infrastructure

The Esu  Sa’Rubochi, HRH Ibrahim Mohammed Pada, has urged the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to  make provision for improved infrastructure at Rubochi town and its environs.

He said Rubochi, as one of the populated towns at the outskirts the Territory, deserved more government attention in area of social amenities.

Pada stated this recently in a chat with Blueprint that despite the population in Rubochi there are no desired social amenities that would serve the people, adding that the provision of better facilities would boost economic and business activities within the town.

The traditional ruler identified poor road network and electricity as some of the major issues affecting the entire community.

“Rubochi town has many academic institutions and others, but it is surprising that we are backward in infrastructure. Like the bad state of road, its provide ground for robbers to be attacking those that ply the area,” he said.

He also said inadequate security personnel at the divisional police headquarters in Rubochi was a matter that called for urgent government’s attention.

The monarch appealed to the Commissioner of Police in the Territory in collaboration with the minister to evolve measures that would address security challenges in the town.
