Rotary Club of Abuja CBD Wednesday held medical oureach at Poyi Community, Karu, in Federal Capital Territory.
A statement signed by the President Rotary Club of Abuja CBD ,Rotarian Aisha and made available to journalists in Abuja noted that the outreach was part of activities to mark Rotary Family Health Days ( RFHD).
She said the event was aimed at promoting and encouraging wellbeing and wellness for members of the community
According to her, the outreach was sponsored by the Rotary Family Health Days(RFHD) and Aids Prevention Organization in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation, Rotary Club Abuja CBD and Rotary Clubs in Abuja.
“Members of the community enjoyed medical interventions covering: Prostate Cancer Screening; Malaria test, Sugar level, Blood pressure, HIV test, Hepatitis test, and other medical interventions
“It was an opportunity to bring the community together and make positive impacts on their health,” she said.
