Rivers commissioner urges group to support Fubara government

The Rivers state Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Prince Charles Beke, Wednesday, called on Coalition of Alumni Ikwerre Student Leaders Forum (CISLF) to ensure they make positivity their watch word for the forum to grow.

Hon. Beke stated this when the leadership of coalition of Alumni Ikwerre Student Leaders Forum paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Port Harcourt .

The commissioner appreciated the vision of the forum for bringing the four Ikwerre ethnic groups together, saying that such will be an encouragement to the younger ones who are in school, those seeking for admission and those who have graduated from the university.

The commissioner noted that the forum is made up of youth and they are the future leaders of tomorrow.

He said the  responsibility of the elders is to bring them up in the path of positive and not negative leadership because the Ikwerres had sons and daughters who led and some had negativity in their leading while some maintain the path of positivity.

“History records that there are lots of Ikwerre son’s who have done well to promote Ikwerre ethnic nationality in more positive manner. Whatever you are doing, try to project Ikwerre in  good light,” he stated.
