The Kwara state government has declared Wednesday, 25th January, 2023 as work free day for the state’s civil servants to enable them get their permanent voter cards (PVCs).
A statement Tuesday by the state’s head of service, Susan Oluwole, said the state governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, gave the approval for the work free day urging all those who were yet to get their PVCs to take advantage of the holiday.
The statement reads: “The Kwara state governor, H.E. Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak has approved the declaration of Wednesday, 25 January, 2023 as work free day for the state civil servants.
“This is to give ample time to the workers to get their permanent voters card from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enable them participate actively in the upcoming general election.
“All those that are yet to get their voter cards are admonished to immediately do so before the expiration of the collection of the collection date.”.
