Intellectuals Without Borders Worldwide Sunday commended Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye who once represented Plateau Central, Plateau state in the red chamber of the National Assembly, for his proactive approach in appealing to hunger protesters nationwide to calm their nerves.
Coordinator of the group, Fatai Ibrahim, in a statement, said Senator Dariye’s call for calm has rekindled the hope of millions of Nigerian youth, as his antecedents and dexterity in government business remains a shining example for the present generations of our youth and all those committed to nation-building.
Moreso, Dariye’s call on the youth to be peaceful and promote unity is a welcome development, as it will further consolidate the peace initiatives by the Tinubu administration and appealed to the president to address the germane issues raised by the protesters.
