Protection of lives, property, my priority-Kuje DPO

Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in-charge of Kuje area council, CSP
Harrison Oruruo has said that protection of lives and property would
be priority while serving as the divisional Police Officer (DPO) in
Kuje.

He made this declaration yesterday in a chat with Blueprint, after the
security meeting chaired by the council chairman.

He noted that crime rate in Kuje and environs has reduced
drastically, just as he enjoined the residents to always regard crime
fighting and control as a collective responsibility.

Oruruo reiterated his commitment to continue with the fight against
criminal activities, adding that the success recorded during the
Christmas and New year would be sustained.

He warned criminals perpetrating crime in the area to relocate base
adding that his leadership has put in place measures to chase them
away from the area. In the alternative, they should be ready to face
the wrath of the law after being apprehended.

The Kuje DPO pointed out that he would be holding security meetings
with various stakeholders such as traditional and religious leaders as well as, PCRC members with a view to having a partnership that
would accelerate the fight against crime in the council
