Prioritise good governance, security, APC chieftain charges politicians

The zonal organising secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr Blessing Agbomhere has called on politicians in Nigeria to make good governance and security their top priorities.

Agbomhere in a personally signed statement in Abuja on Thursday, said good governance anchored on security, should take the centre stage in the nation’s development agenda.

“As a concerned citizen and legal practitioner, I am committed to proffering solutions to the challenges hindering development in my state and Nigeria as a whole.

“Our politicians must recognize that good governance and security are non-negotiable prerequisites for Nigeria’s progress.

“Like other concerned Nigerians, I urge them to put aside partisan interests and work towards a common goal: building a safer, more prosperous nation for all,” he said.

Agbomhere explained in the statement that his calls for prioritization of good governance and security, were in line with postulations made in two of his latest books, billed for launching very soon.

“Good governance anchored on security is no doubt, key ingredient needed at all tiers of government in the country for genuine development,” he stressed.
