The Zonal Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Barrister Blessing Agbomhere , has called on politicians in Nigeria to make good governance and security , their top priorities .
Agbomhere in a personally signed statement in Abuja on Thursday, said good governance anchored on security, should take the centre stage in the nation’s development agenda.
“As a concerned citizen and legal practitioner, I am committed to proffering solutions to the challenges hindering development in my state and Nigeria as a whole.
” Our politicians must recognize that good governance and security are non-negotiable prerequisites for Nigeria’s progress.
” Like other concerned Nigerians , I urge them to put aside partisan interests and work towards a common goal: building a safer, more prosperous nation for all”, he said .
Agbomhere explained in the statement that his calls for prioritization of good governance and security , were in line with postulations made in two of his latest books , billed for launching very soon .
” Good governance anchored on security is no doubt , key ingredient needed at all tiers of government in the country for genuine development “, he stressed .
