Prime sacks Abimbola

Nigeria National League side, Prime Football Club, have asked head coach Abimbola Samuel, to step aside till the end of the season.
According to a statement from the club, “the management committee of Prime FC has relieved Abimbola Samuel from his responsibilities as head coach of Prime.”
“The club would like to thank Abimbola Samuel for his services to the club, in the time that he has been with us, and we do wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” read the statement.
In his absence assistant coaches Shina Afolabi, Deji Ayeni, Tunji Baruwa and Anayo Affor will take charge of the team on temporarily basis.
The Omoluabi Giants are currently on 9th position in the log with 22 points from 16 matches.
