Leicester City hope Wilfred Ndidi will be fit in time for a crucial Premier League clash at home against fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest.
The match is slated for October 3 and a win could spark off the revival of ‘The Foxes’.
Ndidi was forced to quit the Super Eagles training camp in Algeria after a ‘bust-up’ with coach Jose Peseiro.
His English club have since disclosed that he suffered a Grade 1 hamstring injury and that means he could be back for a crucial game at Forest.
Leicester City are bottom of the table with a point after seven rounds of matches, while promoted Forest are second from bottom with four points.
