The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Alberto Adeyemi, confirmed the development and said the old man slumped and died while in company of others going to inspect property destroyed following the confusion that trailed the arrest of the monarch.
According to community sources, the arrest, said to have been carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, was affected by a police squad, who reportedly stormed the community and whisked away some people, including the monarch.
