The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested one Victor Lorjaal of Aba Ile camp, Itaji-Ekiti, in Oye local government area of Ekiti state for matcheting his mother, Mrs Victoria Lorjaal, and his elder sister, Brenda Lorjaal, to death.
In a statement made available to journalists by the Police Public Relations Officer, Abutu Sunday, in Ado-Ekiti, Thursday said the ugly incident happened Tuesday 25th March, this year at about 7:10 am.
The police spokesman said in the statement that one of the children of the deceased, who is an eye witness, narrated that while working with the suspect on the farm, he suddenly left him and went to meet their mother and sister at a distant location where they were also working.
He said shortly after the suspect left, he heard his mother screaming for help but before he could get close, the suspect committed the dastardly act and took to his heels with the cutlass he used.
