Plateau state government has awarded contract worth N864, 949, 896 for the digitisation and switch over of the state’s Radio Television Corporation from analogue to digital broadcasting.
Speaking during the contract signing ceremony yesterday between the Plateau state government and the contractor, Pinnacle Communications Limited, the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Barrister(Mrs) Olivia Dazyan, who signed on behalf of the state government, expressed hope that the contractor would deliver both on quality and time specification.
She said both the government and people of Plateau state were waiting on the contractor with a lot of expectations, and urged the contractor to keep faith with the letters of the agreement.
Earlier, in his remarks, on the essence of the occasion, the permanent secretary, Ministry of Information and Communication, Mr Emmanuel
Gogwim Kaye, said the event was a much awaited moment given the huge transformation it would bring to state’s broadcast outfit.
Responding, the chairman and chief executive of Pinnacle Communications Limited, Sir Lucky Omoluwa, promised to do his best, in time and quality, to make the state the better for it.
