People’s Democratic Party senatorial candidate for Kaduna North zone, Khalid Ibrahim Mustapha, has emerged winner after polling 250,826 votes to defeat the incumbent Sen. Suleiman Abdu Kwari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 190,008 votes.
Alhaji Sidi Bamalli of the Labour Party (LP) scored 28,418, while Adamu Rabi’u of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) scored 315 votes.
The Senatorial results was declared by Prof Saleh Alhaji Ado of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.
