PDP governments corrupt – Wamakko

Governor of Sokoto state Aliyu Wamakko has accused the federal government of abetting political crises in All Progressive Congress (APC) controlled states.

The governor made the accusation yesterday during a maiden meeting of the APC expanded interim committee, Sokoto state chapter.

He said under the PDP-led government, corruption had become the order of the day, and impunity was the only language the current administration understands.
He said the country was blessed with abundant mineral resources but because of PDP bad governance and corruption, the country’s economy is continuously retrogressing by the day.

According to the governor, many Nigerians “are acquiring neighbouring country’s passports whenever they are traveling outside the country, because of the bad governance which has brought stigma internationally”.
He said the truth would soon prevail because Nigerians were tired of bad governance which PDP, according to him, represents.

He, however, said the APC was conceived and put in place to bring in the desired change and true democracy where the rule of law, transparency and accountability would reign.
The governor said APC government would build a country that can compete with other nations in terms of development and directions.

“Under the APC government, every Nigerian will feel free to live wherever he or she wants to live, conduct his activities in peace and harmony,” he said.
He said the  APC would form a government that would respect the wishes and rights of every Nigerian and provide security to lives and property of all Nigerians, irrespective of regional or party affiliations.
