The Ibadan-born billionaire businessman, Engineer Dotun Sanusi, on Sunday asked groups campaigning for him to run for Oyo state governorship contest in 2027, to stop immediately.
Sanusi who stated this in a statement on his verified social media handle, expressed his concern over the increasing pressure from supporters, adding that “his future is in God’s hands and his service to humanity will continue regardless of political ambitions.
“I am not doing what I do for political gains. I am committed to the greater good of our people. Giving is part of my life”, he said.
Emphasising that “enough is enough,” the Ibadan-born billionaire businessman who is currently in Europe told supporters to “go and rest.”
