Osun Governorship: 27 APC aspirants pay N2.5m each for intention form

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun state would generate over N67million from the sales of governorship ticket to aspirants under the party, Blueprint has gathered.
A governorship aspirant who hinted that the party has directed all aspirants to pay N2.5m each, for the party’s ticket, said the party has mandated aspirants to begin campaign at the party Secretariat before going to any other place.
The aspirant who pleaded anonymity, said all the 27 aspirants that showed intention to contest the September 22 governorship election recently have paid N500,000 each before Monday when they went to the party Secretariat.
A receipt of payment of the N500,000, posted on Facebook by one of the aspirants, Dr. Isiaka Ayodele Owoade, confirmed the payment of the money.
The receipt showed the payment from the account number 1003672151 to the account of All Progressives Congress, APC.
Also, each aspirants have been warned not to kick off their campaign except they first declared at the party Secretariat before going out.
When the Director of Media and Publicity of the party, Barrister Kunle Oyatomi, was contacted about the new N2.5million, he said he could not talk about it because the national body of the party has not talked about it.
