An Osun State Magistrate court sitting in Osogbo, the state capital, yesterday remanded one Suraju Adeniyi and Lateef Olaitan, in Ilesha prison for allegedly causing public disturbance.
Th e accused persons, Adeniyi, 39, Olaitan, 25, were alleged to have caused troubles under the infl uence of drug.
Th e Prosecutor, Sergeant Sunday Ajayi, alleged that the duo of the accused committee the alleged off ence on October 5, 2017, at Asoje Area, Osogbo.
He said they conducted themselves at an Indian hemp Joint to breach public peace.
Th e prosecution said the off ence committed by the accused persons was contrary to and punishable under section 249(D) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume.

Meanwhile, the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the allegation of public disturbance leveled against them by the police.
Th eir Counsel, Mrs. Raji Abiodun, urged the court to grant her client bail in the most liberal terms, please promising that they would not abuse the bail privilege, if granted.
But, the prosecution opposed the bail application by the counsel and urged the court to deny the accused bail.
He said the accused had threatened to beat the policemen who apprehended them, if they are released.
Magistrate O. A. Oloyade, thereby ordered that the accused be remanded at Ilesha prison custody and adjourned the case till November 9.
Th e magistrate subsequently directed the counsel to fi le a formal application for the bail on the accused persons.
