Osun 2018: APC importing voters from Lagos, ADP alleges

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) has raised the alarm over alleged importation of commercial voters from nearby Lagos State into Osun State by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The party said apart from noticing strange faces in some towns and rural areas in the state lately and that this was further confirmed by its intelligence report.
According to a statement the party issued yesterday and signed by its Director of Information and Strategy, Mr Ayobami Modesty Fakeye, it has been receiving reports across the state that the state government has mandated some heads of schools to evacuate their classrooms in readiness for commercial voting.
“Reliable intelligence has revealed how strange faces have started showing up in towns and rural areas across the state.
“The State ADP had in the past two weeks received reports of the state government directive mandating some heads of public schools to evacuate all desks and chairs in all their classrooms to pave way for their commercial voters “We have it on good authorities that close to 600 of such commercial voters are currently being accommodated at AUD Primary School in Iwo as well as others across the state.
“The party, therefore, charged the men and officers of the various security agencies in the state to investigate and arrest the commercial voters accommodated in public schools across the state and their masterminds.
“Ours is a political party that is committed to the development of political ideal that will ensure the growth of democracy in our country”, the ADP said.
