Osinbajo’s wife to speak at NCPC women pilgrimage programme

Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, will be the special guest of honour at the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission’s Greater Women Pilgrimage Convocation scheduled for September 21, 2017, at the National Women Development Centre, Abuja.

She would equally present the keynote address at the occasion.

Executive Secretary of NCPC, Rev. Tor Uja, who disclosed this yesterday in Abuja, explained that the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, had “graciously accepted to grace the occasion to give women the needed support and encouragement towards the mobilisation of Greater Women Pilgrimage slated for May, next year.”

The women convocation, which is a one-day event, is expected to draw female church leaders, wives of church leaders and other leading Christian women.

He explained that in readiness for the Greater Women Pilgrimage Convocation, the Commission had held two Strategic Women leadership meetings on how to make the Women Convocation a success and more importantly on mobilising for Women Pilgrimage to Israel, next year.

Uja said Nigerian women were pace-setters in the world, in addition to being distinctive in life style, ministry and leadership.

He urged all Nigerian Christian women to key into the NCPC Women Pilgrimage Programme “which will surely bring the women together under one umbrella and strengthen them in their roles in these last days.”

The Women Pilgrimage Programme of the NCPC is designed for women in all cadres, including professionals, clergy, political office holders and women who would want to have a unique spiritual encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Land.
