Osinbajo’s aide to unveil social media platform

The Technical Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on New Media, Hon. Philip Obin, will officially unveil to the public a social media platform he founded.

According to a statement on Thursday signed by Hon Obin himself, the

social media platform would be unveiled in a few weeks.

He said it would be packed with exciting features that provides a seamless user-experience.

“Trenchat is an emerging social media platform to connect, meet, share, learn and earn monetarily and in kind,” he said.

The statement further noted “Developed in 2010, Trenchat struggled in the highly competitive social media ecosystem until recently when it was revamped and refreshed with new and exciting features that make it similar to Twitter but with some uniqueness.

“After 12 years of trials and errors, Trenchat is finally able to withstand the resource-zapping activities generated by thousands of users. It is now faster and more user-friendly, a feat Obin attributed to the many years of trial and failure.

“While thousands of Nigerians from home and abroad dominate the indigenous platform, it also has users based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa and Benin Republic.

“Obin, who is also a Techpreneur and Business Coach, revealed that the event will have notable social media influencers, politicians, government officials, businessmen, and other media practitioners in attendance.”

He, therefore, called on Nigerians to kindly patronise the platform, which according to him, is the first to offer an affiliate system through which users are paid for referring new users, enjoy free digital training on various skills and a lot more, as a way of giving back to the community.
