Victor Osimhen is now the best paid player at Serie A champions Napoli after his salary was doubled in the new contract he signed.
Both Napoli and Osimhen’s camp have refused to divulge the details of the new deal.
However, transfer expert Nicolo Schira has reported that Osimhen will now earn between Nine and 10 Million Euros a year as salary and bonuses on account of this contract.
This is double what he earned when he became Napoli record signing in the summer of 2020.
It thus makes him the best paid player at the club.
A release clause of about 130m Euros will also offer the striker the opportunity to quit Napoli should an interested club meet it.
