Orphanage lauds Zerbeced group for giving hope to vulnerable people

A leading construction and mining company, Zeberced Group, has been lauded for its significant contribution to the Waff Road Mosque Orphanage in Kaduna.

Chairman of the Waff Road Mosque Forum Executive Committee, Engr. Namadi Muhammad Musa, in a statement issued by the Waff road, Mosque Forum PRO, Haruna Said, during the 10th Shura Assembly, Sunday, in Kaduna, noted the company’s generous donation which has played a pivotal role in sustaining the orphanage’s operations and improving the welfare of the children in its care.

He emphasised the critical role that Zeberced Group’s donations have played in ensuring that the orphanage remains a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

“We are deeply grateful to Zeberced Group Abuja for their unwavering support. Their contributions have not only sustained our operations but have also uplifted the lives of the orphans, providing them with the care, education, and opportunities they need to thrive.

“With continued support from organizations and other benefactors, the orphanage aims to enhance its educational offerings, develop vocational training programs, and provide more comprehensive healthcare services to the children,” the statement said.

Over the past two years, Zeberced Group has continuously supported the Waff Road Mosque Orphanage, recognising the importance of giving back to the community and empowering the next generation.

Blueprint learnt that the orphanage, which has grown into a beacon of hope for many underprivileged children, relies heavily on such contributions to maintain its services, including providing nutritious meals, quality education, healthcare, and emotional support to the children.

Donations from other notable organisations such as APT Securities and Funds, and individuals have ensured the continuity of these essential services, bringing stability and hope to the lives of the orphans.

Furthermore, individual donors such as Alhaji Nadabo Chanchangi, Hauwa M Lawal, and AbdulNasir Dansani have also made significant contributions, ensuring that the orphanage continues to provide for the children in its care. Schools such as HAS School Kaduna have also partnered with the orphanage through regular visits and donations of food items, medications, and other necessities.

These visits provide an opportunity for the children to interact with their peers, creating a sense of belonging and community. The visits also instill values of empathy and responsibility in the students, fostering a culture of giving and compassion among the youth.

The Waff Road Mosque Forum equally expressed its gratitude to all the donors, partners, and well-wishers who have contributed to the success of the orphanage.

The statement reads further, “We extend our heartfelt thanks to Zeberced Group Abuja and all our supporters. Your kindness has had a profound impact on the lives of the children, and we look forward to continuing this journey together, as we strive to create a better future for the orphans.” Founded in 1996, the Waff Road Mosque Forum has been dedicated to serving the community through various charitable and social programs.

The 10th Shura Assembly marks another milestone in the Forum’s journey of service, highlighting the programs and activities that have positively impacted the lives of many in the community.”

Also, the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Waff Road Mosque Forum, Alhaji Umaru Muttalab represented by Alhaji Murtala Aliyu, commended the executive for their selfless sacrifices to the forum and the Muslim Ummah.

He acknowledged the dedication and commitment of the Forum’s leaders in promoting unity and spiritual growth within the Muslim community.

Speaking further, Alhaji Muttalab emphasised the importance of collaboration and sustained contributions to the development of the mosque and the larger Ummah.

He urged the community to remain steadfast in their faith and continue supporting the forum’s initiatives for the benefit of future generations.
