Organisers roll out Euro 2024 draw

England have been handed a favourable Euro 2024 draw as Scotland face Germany in the opener, with Spain and Italy in the group of death.

At the Euro 2024 draw ceremony, that was marred by bizarre sex noises being played in the background, England have been drawn against Denmark in a rematch of their Euro 2020 final in Group C and Scotland will begin the tournament against hosts Germany in Group A.

Spain, Croatia, and Italy are in the so-called ‘Group of Death’ in Group B, with other heavyweight matchups including Netherlands and France in Group D, and Portugal and Turkey in Group F.

The top two teams from a group go into the knockout stage and the best four third-placed nations will advance to the round of 16. Check out the full group-stage draw below, with the 21 qualified teams and three more waiting to join them through the play-offs.
