Organ harvesting: Court revokes Noah Kekere’s bail, remands suspect

A Magistrate Court sitting at the Jos Metropolitan Development Board (JMDB) Thursday revoked the bail granted to Mr. Noah Kekere, an alleged doctor that was removing patients’ kidneys.

Chief Magistrate Joseph Chollom revoked the bail after outcries from both the Nigeria Police, the Plateau state Ministry of Justice and the Nassarawa Gwong community, alleging complicity in the granting of the bail.

Our correspondent reports that  Kekere was rearrested and retaken to court by the Police.

At Thursday’s proceeding, the judge ordered revocation of the bail granted to  Kekere.

Judge Chollom further ordered for the remand of the suspect, Noah Kekere and two others alleged to be complicit in the case.

The revocation of the bail is coming barely 48 hours after it was granted to the suspect.
