Ordega exits CSKA Moscow, pens emotional farewell 

Nigeria forward, Francisca Ordega has officially bid farewell to Russian side, CSKA Moscow Women’s Football Club.

After joining the club in 2021, Ordega played 84 matches, scoring 29 goals and providing 20 assists, helping the team win several honors.

With the team, she won two Russian Cup titles, four Super League silver medals, and one Super Cup victory.

The 31-year-old Nigerian international, has had a remarkable career, representing her country at all levels, including the under-17 and under-20 teams, and participating in three FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments.

She’s also won several honors with the Super Falcons, including four African titles.

”Would like to express my unwavering gratitude and appreciation for the love from the last 3 and a half years,” She posted on her social media pages.

“We’ve achieved a lot since I joined this club..I took incredible pride every time I pulled on this shirt, It’s been an unforgettable and successful period since I came to this team @wfccska Now, it’s the right time to undertake a new challenge, to push myself again in new surroundings @wfccska will always be in my heart.

Ordega’s club sojourn has seen her played in Sweden, United States of America (USA), Australia, Spain, and Russia.

She previously played for Pitea IF (Sweden), Washing Spirit (USA), Sydney (Australia), Atletico Madrid (Spain), and Levante UD (Spain)
