Opposition planning to kill Jonathan — Clark

It has been alleged that some members of the Opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) are plotting to kill President Goodluck Jonathan.
Ijaw leader and elder-statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, yesterday, alleged that they might kill or poison him in order to forcefully take over power in 2015.
The elder statesman stated this in Abuja during a conference organised by Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Ward2Ward Initiative.
He said some utterances of members of APC in the face of the biting insecurity shows that they are not patriotic Nigerians.
Clark said: “This morning, I read one of the newspapers. The national chairman of one of our parties said that Nigeria was moving towards anarchy. I was shocked. Coming here, I want to make a statement about it. Today, you are here on your own because you believe in Nigeria. The future is here.”
