Opposition party courting external influence to win Edo guber – PDP

Ahead of the September 21, governorship election in Edo state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign council has urged supporters to remain steadfast and work for the victory of Dr. Asue Ighodaro, the party’s candidate for the election.

The council also alleged that a certain opposition party is trying to distract the public with the Abuja Federal High Court judgment, noting that “the judgment will not stand.”

The Director General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, said this Tuesday, when he led members and dozens of supporters in a solidarity march in Benin City, the state capital.

The party’s flag bearer, Dr. Asue Ighodaro, his deputy, Osarodion Ogie, the speaker of the state assembly, Hon. Blessing Agbebaku and the deputy director, Rev. Olu Martins, joined in the march across the metropolis.
