Ooni, Adeleke, AGF, others hail Law Corridor

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II; Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state; the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi; Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, including other legal luminary and dignitaries, Thursday eulogised the Law Corridor for “effective practices” that culminated into the unveiling of its new edifice.

They spoke in Abuja at the commissioning of a multi-million naira Law Corridor new office complex and book presentation on Modern Nigerian Legal System.

Managed by the trio of Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi  (Managing Partner), Henry Kelechukwu Eni-Otu (Lead Partner) and Ganiyu Ajibola Bello (Deputy Managing Partner), speakers after speakers lauded  partnership in legal practice, describing it as being “capable of enhancing expertise, increasing capacity and allowing for efficient risk management.”

Pelumi Olajengbesi, who spoke on behalf of the law firm, said, “It is an innovative and cosmopolitan legal powerhouse, uniquely positioned to practice across a broad spectrum of traditional and modern legal disciplines. 

“We are partnerships committed to the highest standards of legal excellence, adding that Law Corridor is distinguished by a team of seasoned legal experts, each bringing a wealth of experience and an in-depth understanding of both straightforward and complex legal matters.” 

The hallmark of the occasion was the unveiling of the new edifice and launching of a book titled Modern Nigeria Legal System.

While reviewing the book, a professor of law, Hadiza Hamma, commended the authors, saying the insightful work in the book would contribute greatly to legal literatures.

Fagbemi, in his remarks, applauded partnership that “brings lawyers with diverse knowledge in different fields to come together to work towards achieving efficient legal practice,” noting that it was no longer ideal for individual law firms to work in isolation. 

Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, urged the partners to be good partners and to be trustworthy.

Awomolo, who is the chairman, Body of Benchers, charged the team on the need to build integrity in the law profession while upholding high ethical integrity as cornerstones of their legal practices.
