Ondo: Why we suspended APC state chairman – Ward executive 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) executive in Ofosu Ward, Idanre Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo state, has explained that the party’s state chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, was suspended over alleged gross misconduct.

The decision came after an emergency meeting convened by the ward executive, where they accused Adetimehin of making statements capable of causing disorder and instability within the party.

According to the executive, the suspension will remain in place until a thorough investigation into the matter is completed.

In a statement signed by 15 members of the ward executive, they affirmed their commitment to maintaining peace, discipline and party unity.

They urged all party stakeholders to remain calm while the issue is being addressed.

As of the time of filling this report, efforts to reach the suspended chairman were unsuccessful.
