President Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerians to continue to support the effort of the present administration led by the All Progressives Congress (APC) at repositioning the country.
The President, represented at the mega rally of APC preparatory for the Ondo state governorship election in Akure by Vice President, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, said the present administration in the country was poised at making life more comfortable for Nigerians.
He, therefore, urged the Ondo state people to come out in large numbers on Saturday at ensuring continuity and victory for APC in the state, so the present development in the state would continue.
The Vice President noted that Ondo state was peculiar in South West part of the country, hence the trend of progressive development should not elude the state.
Also in his message at the occasion, the National Chairman of APC, His Excellency Abdullahi Ganduje appreciated the people of the state for their passion in choosing APC as the party to rule the state over the years, while appealing to them to ensure victory come November 16th governorship election in the state.
Ganduje stated that APC as a party was committed towards development and repositioning the country towards path of glory in the interest of all.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in his speech at the rally pledged more developmental strides, in addition to what was achieved under late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Aiyedatiwa pleaded with the people to come out in their large numbers on Saturday to vote for APC in the state.
Present at the rally were all APC governors in South West, led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, who is also the chairman National Campaign Council.
Others were Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti state, Hope Uzodinma of Imo state, among other APC bigwigs.
