The Ondo state police command has joined others across the country to felicitate with the Muslim faithful on the celebration of the Eid el- Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.
The command prayed that Almighty Allah accept the fasting as an act of ibadah.
To ensure a hitch-free celebration, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Wilfred Afolabi, directed that security apparatus be emplaced at prayer grounds across the state to avoid security breach.
The command urged parents and guardians to keep a close watch on their children, especially toddlers, to prevent issue of missing persons during the celebration.
Furthermore, the command noted that adequate security have been put in place for motoring public transiting the state as policemen have been deployed along the highways and boundaries to ensure ease of movement and prevent any threat while in the state.
