The Deji and paramount ruler of Akure kingdom in Ondo state, ,Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II has proceed on his annual Ulefunta leave.
The press secretary to the monarch, Adeyeue Michael, said the annual leave is expected to last for a period of seven days beginning from Tuesday 24th September, 2024 till Monday 30th September, 2024.
He added that the monarch will use the period of the annual leave to pray for peace, prosperity and progress of Akure kingdom, Ondo state and the country at large.
He said it is pertinent to notify the general public and residents of Akure that beating of drum under any guise is prohibited during this period.
