Ogun: PDP inaugurates newly elected excos

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogun state chapter has inaugurated the newly elected executive, led by Hon. Abayomi Tella to steer the affairs of the party in the state.

The chairman caretaker committee, Dada Awoleye, while handing over the certificate of return to the new chairman, encouraged the excos to do all it can in securing the party’s victory in the next elections, starting with the Local Government election in November 16, 2024.

Awoleye, who maintained that the executive remains the only authentic leadership of the party in the state, urged the executives to bring back disgruntled party members, adding that the party’s success depends on its togetherness.

The new chairman, while giving his acceptance speech, assured that the executives would do all it can to rejuvenate and reposition the party for 2027.

“in the face of law that created the party called PDP and in the compliance of that a congress is done and it is the legal congress every other one is nullity.

“Twins born the same day with the same day umbilical cord have differences and where we have interest abound there would be differences but the ability to manage those interests is the major thing here and I think we’ve started.

“I have a team who is ready to go. We are going with that spirit to meet our people even those in the other party who are currently suffering and smiling to tell them ‘come we built this party together so come back”, he said.
