The Ogun state Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ tuesday elected new officers who will run its affairsfor the next three years.
In a keenly contested election supervised by the state council of the NUJ, Mr Kunle Olayemi of the Daily Telegraph was returned unopposed as chairman.
His only challenger, Mr Kehinde Akinyemi of the Daily Trust, the immediate past chairman, was disqualified earlier.
Other elected officers are Wale Adewumi, secretary, and James Ogunaike.
