Former Nigerian captain, Chief Segun Odegbami, is confident the current team has the hunger and desire to make history.
Odegbami, a member of the 1980 African Nations Cup winning squad, was at the team’s final training session on Monday in Jacksonville and praised the work ethic of the squad.
“I like what I saw at the training ground… the hunger of the boys, the confidence they displayed and the way and manner the coaching crew conducted themselves.
“Something tells me history is in the making with this team,” he said.
