General Sulaiman Kazaure and 42 others have been conferred with the Fellowship of the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN).

The investiture of Kazaure and others took place at the 40th Annual International Conference of the body in Kaduna.

Speaking on the occasion, the President of the Chemical Society of Nigeria, Professor Gloria Ukalina Obuzor, said Kazaure and others were elevated to the fellowship cadre having reached the peak of their professional career.

Obuzor said the new Fellows had met set criteria, including provision of outstanding service and support to the society over the years.

She congratulated them on the attainment of the Fellowship, and reminded them to brace up for greater responsibilities.

“Your service to CSN has earned you this elevation and I am charging you to utilise the ‘Global Chemists Code of Ethics’ as your guide and watch word in all your activities. Be informed that your service, responsibilities and commitment to the society has increased because of your new status in the society,” she said.

Responding on behalf of other Fellows, Kazaure thanked the body for considering them worthy of the elevation.

He gave assurances of their commitment to the progress of the body as well as the general good of the country through their respective callings.
