The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Wednesday lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu- led administration for reviving the nation’s refineries in Warri and Port-Harcourt.
The council stated that the milestone not only signifies a step towards energy self-sufficiency but also opens up new avenues for growth and development.
It also called on the teeming population of youth to support NYCN’s president, Solomon Adodo, in a New Year address.
The youth leader charged youth to kick against those he termed anarchist and anti-patriotic elements who seek to divide Nigerians along religious, regional or whatever contrived lines of attrition.
He said it behooves youth to continue supporting the Tinubu- led administration in its endeavors to bring about positive change and progress.
“Let us stand united in our vision for a better and brighter Nigeria, where opportunities abound, and prosperity flourishes for all. It is imperative to note that Mr. President believes in you and relies on your partnership to build the Nigeria of our collective dreams,” he said.
He added that the upcoming National Youth Conference would provide the enabling environment to address the challenges faced by youths in the country.
He assured that under the visionary leadership of the Minister of Youth Development, Ambassador Ayodele Olawande, that the conference will not just be a gathering for speeches but birth place of innovative enterprises that will trigger rapid productivity and job creation in the country.
