Nyako begins 50-water-well project

As part of his campaign promises to the people of Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Sen. Abdul’Aziz Murtala Nyako, at the weekend begun the sinking of 50 hand powered motorised boreholes in Yola North local government area of Nasarawa in Jimeta, Gwadabawa, Jambutu , Demsawo, Doubeli ,luggere and Ajiya wards in other to address the perennial supply  of water to the people of his constituency.

Nyako also said he would sink 50 boreholes, two mechanised water boreholes for farmers and two mini earth dams to enable the communities extract water manually for their farms, livestoick and for daily usage.
The project was headed by his campaign Director General, Alhaji Isa Bagalci, with coordinators overseeing the project in each ward within the seven local government of his constituency.
The Lawmaker added that, the availability of water would tackle the challenges of life.

At Yola south, the coordinator, Alhaji Adamau Abdulkardir said drilling was done in Angwan Baburawa , Wauru Jabbe , Makama A and B ward as well as Wuro Hausa respectively except that of Mbamoi ward were the drilling team could not get water supply despite several attempts believing that the water table could be too deep for now.
The Director General explained that the two-earth dams would be located in Fufore and Gombi local government, adding that 200 hundred sewing and grinding machines had been provided for women to start small businesses.
