NSCDC zonal commander warns personnel against unethical conducts

The Zonal Commander, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zone B, Assistant Commandant General (ACG) Muhammed Lawal Haruna has warned personnel against indiscipline and poor attitude to work.

Addressing the NSCDC Kaduna state command during a visit to the NSCDC state command headquarters in Kurmin Mashi, Kaduna, Haruna commended the management team of the command for the support given to the State Commandant, CC Idris Yahaya Adah, while urging them not to relent, but to continue to ensure the success of his administration in the state.

The zonal commander further advised them to make use of the new office in the interest of the good people of the state and to also identify areas of their needs for necessary action. “We appreciate the state government for providing free office accommodation for the Corps to continue to discharge our duties towards the protection of lives and critical national assets.

“We commend the efforts of the state government for giving us this place. And as Oliver Twist, we want more, we want the state government to support us with the necessary logistics as the capacity required may not yield much results due to limited funding at our disposal,” the Zonal Commander said.

Haruna advised personnel to put in their best and abide by the code of ethics and standard operating procedures of the corps in performing their jobs with or without supervision. He tasked them to obey the constituted authorities and serve the state and the country to the best of their abilities and knowledge.

The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), CC Idris Yahaya Adah, thanked the Zonal Commander Haruna for the visit, adding that security of lives and property of the people of the state is one of the Command’s top priorities.
