The Match Day 16 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) between Akwa United and Bendel Insurance Football Club has been rescheduled for Monday, December 9,2024 with kick off slated for 4pm.
The match day 16 fixture was initially scheduled for Sunday, December 8,2024 at the same Goodwill Akpabio Stadium Uyo before the NPFL announced the changes in the fixtures.
The rearrangement was contained in a letter dated Tuesday, 3rd December, 2024 and signed by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the NPFL.
The change of date is as a result of the CAF Confederation Cup match between Enyimba FC and Zamalek SC of Egypt which is scheduled to hold on Sunday at the same Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
