No need to praise lawmakers on constituency projects – Nkole

The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Uko Nkole, has stated that representatives should not be beating their chests over the provision of democratic dividends noting that they were elected for that purpose.
Accordingly, Nkole said he has been providing the dividends of democracy without blowing the trumpets about it.
He disclosed this at Ohafia during Town Hall meeting with Ohafia South Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) adding specifically that facilitated the employment of 27 youths from Arochukwu Ohafia, as well as attracted numerous projects including the Muri bridge at Ozuabam, roads in Amangwu Ohafia, built classroom blocks for Nkporo Secondary school, roads, water scheme projects spread across all the eight (8) clans that make up Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency.
He said every year, he ensures inclusion of project worth N150 million in the budget geared towards the betterment of people welfare stressing this give his constituents effective and efficient representation.
Earlier, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Ukpai Agwu Ukpai, lauded him for the provision of fruits of democracy to the people, noting that Ohafia has taken its first and second tenures in the House of Representatives and suggested that they should allow Nkole who is from Arochukwu take a second tenure.
The former commissioner called on the people to reciprocate the kind gesture by returning him as their representative in 2019 and pleaded that nobody should challenge him in Amangwu Ohafia. He was subsequently endorsed.
