The group A1 Nigeria National League (NNL), encounter played at the Kwara Stadium saw ABS left full back Abdulhameed Lukman brought down inside the six yard box two minutes in the second half.
Otegbeye stepped forward to covert the penalty and scored the only goal in the match in the 48 minute.

ABS playmaker Ayinde Abdulrasheed, effort in the 68 minute hit the woodwork as the Saraki Boys pressed hard to add to the tally.
Reacting to the victory, ABS Coach, Moshood Adebayo, gave God the glory for the victory.

Adebayo vowed that ABS will be in Minna on Sat. June 27, to take the three maximum points against Niger Tornadoes in a week 7 NNL encounter.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that players and officials of ABS trooped out on Friday to welcome the new Senate President to Ilorin .
The pioneer chairman of the club, Malam Abdul Adama, who represented the Senator at the match addressed the players after the match.
He assured the players that the good old days will soon resume at the club.

Adama added that the financial situation affecting the team at the moment is not peculiar to it alone but urged the players to remain resolute.
“Before now, we don’t owe salaries and bonuses”.

“Those kind of days will soon return to the club, we will remind our boss about you and the situation again” Adama said

He splashed a cash prize of one hundred thousand naira to the players for the one goal scored in the match.
In other NNL matches played across the nation, only Bendel Insurance Football Club ran away with a huge victory in a weekend that saw all but one club pick the three points at stake just as Nembe City suffered a humiliating three goals to nothing in Benin City.
