NIPR Kaduna chapter elects new exco 


The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Kaduna chapter, has elected new executives to pilot the affairs of the chapter for the next two years.

The election was held weekend at the end of the chapter’s Annual General Meeting/Public Lectures and Awards under the special guest of honour, Hon. Minister of Information & National Orientation, Mohammad Idris, and the guest speaker, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu, Talban Minna, Sardaunan Hausa, in Kaduna. 

The election which was witnessed by the President & Chairman of Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, FNIPR, who was represented by council member, Bashir Chedi, FNIPR, alongside other senior members and Fellows of the chapter was adjudged to be free, fair and credible.

Mallam Haroun Malami, MNIPR, and Mal Mohammed Abdullahi, ANIPR, were returned chairman and vice chairman. 

Other elected officials include: Portia Aji, secretary, Adeleke Said, assistant secretary, Mohammed S Shettima, P.R.O, and Fatima Mamman financial secretary.

Others are Lynda Tarfa, welfare secretary, Latifat Idris, treasurer and Aliyu Mohammed, auditor. 

While congratulating the newly elected officials, the national president urged them to uphold the virtues of the profession and be guided by law in all their endeavours.
